The Browne team is proud to share with you that the Louisville Urban League’s Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center has received another award. In total, five Louisville organizations were honored for their outstanding commitments and achievements to the Louisville community.
The five award recipients include:
The Kentucky Derby Festival for retaining staff and maintaining the financial security of the organization during an unprecedented public health crisis and the relaunch of a successful event in 2022.
The Salvation Army, SOS International, and WaterStep were honored for their work providing critical aid to Eastern and Western Kentucky following the recent natural disaster the regions experienced.
The Louisville Urban League for the construction work and full funding of the Norton Healthcare Sports and Learning Center located in the West End. The project is estimated to add over $2.25 million in positive economic impact to the local economy.
These awards are given out each year at the GLI’s Annual Meeting to celebrate individuals and organizations who have made the Louisville community a better place to live or work over the past year. The Browne team is honored to have been part of this important project in our community.
