Mark has 20 years of construction experience working with various owners, engineers/architects, municipalities, and contractors. He also has 15 years of experience in project controls, cost management, forecasting, scheduling, and project management. As a Program Controls expert, he spends his time analyzing transactions, forecasting, developing procedures, and understanding project schedules. In his current project, he works hand-in-hand with Metropolitan Sewer District employees and contractors to manage issues and mitigate problems.

Since starting work at the Metropolitan Sewer District in 2012, Mark has played an important role in the development of the Annual Capital Improvement Program including specific and detailed project information, cash flow forecast, and five-year cash flow forecast. Additionally, he has worked on analyzing and reporting on key performance metrics related to the Capital Program and determined the cause of forecasted and current capital project schedule and budgetary variances.

A graduate of the University of Toledo with a BA in Biology, Mark began his career as a civil engineering lab manager, achieving lab accreditation with ASTM, AASHTO, ODOT, and ACOE, working on large construction projects across the region.  Over the next few years, he worked in construction management on various types of building construction including large highway projects, medical office buildings, schools, and jails.

In his free time, with a strong sense of community, Mark continues to volunteer with meaningful organizations in the city. Currently, he is serving as a Veteran Outreach Coordinator and Assistant to the Athletic Coordinator for Team Red, White, and Blue, working to enrich the lives of America’s Veterans by connecting them to their community through both social and physical activities.  He has served on the City of Lebanon Park Board and worked extensively with the Cub scouts including being nominated as an Outstanding Volunteer by the Dan Beard Council of Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

His hobbies include: Camping and Running in the Flying Pig Marathon.
