At Browne Engineering and Construction, we’re committed to giving back to the communities we serve. That’s why we’re thrilled to celebrate the grand opening of the new Goodwill Opportunity Center at 2820 West Broadway in Louisville, Kentucky. This landmark project is much more than a thrift store; it’s a beacon of hope, offering a comprehensive suite of resources designed to empower individuals and revitalize the West Louisville neighborhood.

This project is a testament to the power of collaboration. Goodwill Industries of Kentucky, Norton Healthcare, and numerous community partners came together to create a space that truly addresses the needs of the West Louisville community. At Browne Engineering, we’re honored to have been a part of this transformative initiative.

Browne Engineering served as the project manager for this impressive 125,000-square-foot facility. We’re proud of the hard work and dedication our team invested in keeping the project on time and within budget and the important benefits this will bring to the community. The Goodwill Opportunity Center is much more than bricks and mortar. It’s a place where residents can access critical services like job training, financial literacy programs, and mental health support.

The center officially opened its doors on March 20, 2024, and we encourage everyone to visit, shop, and donate. By supporting the Goodwill Opportunity Center, you’re investing in the future of West Louisville, one individual at a time.
