Once a year we like to share with our community a recap of the previous year and a little news about what’s to come. With so many exciting things happening, it’s nice to take a moment to reflect on some of the projects that made a significant impact on our community.

A Few of Our Significant 2025 Projects:

New Terminal John Glenn Columbus International Airport: This $2 billion project will replace the existing terminal, built in 1958, with a 36-gate facility. The new upgrades will be able to handle 51% more passengers.

Amped New Technology and Learning Center: Their new three-story building will mean the ability to serve more kids and includes additional meeting rooms, classrooms, offices, and will be a permanent home for the Melanaire Market.

Dare to Care New Distribution Warehouse: The Browne team is proud to be leading this project which will provide a new 120,000 sq. ft. food distribution warehouse. The addition will triple refrigerated storage capacity and enable them to provide more fresh food and other key services to the community.

New student housing for University of Cincinnati: Browne is joining the Construction Management at Risk team for a new student housing project at the University of Cincinnati: This significant $326 million expansion will provide 1,300 additional beds for UC students and features common lounges, community kitchens, and a new fitness center.

Simmons College Historic Building Renovations: Working on the renovations to the 100 year old Steward and Ida B. Wells Halls was a very exciting project for the Browne team. Simmons College is Louisville’s only HBCU and we were proud to help them preserve these historic buildings.

Multiple Year MSD Combined Sewer Overflow Project: Browne has been working with MSDGC for a number years providing specialized project management and technical project controls to assure effective management of the wet weather program. This program helps divert waste water from our local waterways until it can be treated effectively.

Launch of Did You Know Series: We also launched our Did You Know series. The first one on how poor product placements contribute to thousands in construction change orders. You can look forward to more of that content in 2026.
