Browne Engineering and Construction is proud to announce the completion of the new $250 million FC Cincinnati soccer stadium, one of the most exciting new sports venue projects the city has seen in decades. Browne’s role in the project was superintendent in charge of level 1 of the stadium. The 26,000 seat stadium will be the new home of FC Cincinnati, the city’s MLS team. The team got its start in the region playing to packed crowds at Nippert Stadium in Clifton and was ready for an expansion. “This is the biggest investment in a hundred years in the Historic West End,” said Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley.

The new stadium is located in the West End of Cincinnati near the former site of Stargel Stadium on Central Parkway at Wade Street and officially opened on May 16, 2021.The stadium will hold around 26,000 spectators, most of those seats will be covered and the venue includes a 1 acre plaza, a party deck on the south side, 53 suites, a dramatic LED lighting system and a 360-degree canopy.

The FC Cincinnati project also includes $100,000 annually for youth soccer programs, job, and contract opportunities for West End residents.
